I suffer from insomnia too. Mine is from work stress. I hope that I can get a new job soon that doesn't keep me up at night.

It’s a terrible thing. Sorry your suffering too. 😩 Crossing my fingers for you. 🫶🤞🏼
Sleeping pills can help. But only if you limit your use of them to no more than three nights a week.
Otherwise you'll lose your natural abilities to go to sleep. Doctors don't tell you this.
In fact, they usually prescribe sleeping pills to be taken every night for aprox 10 days. That's as stupid as a #covid #vaccine.
They all become ineffective after about a week, and you begin to lose your natural abilities to go to sleep after about 3 nights.
Additionally, most people's insomnia last longer than 2 weeks. So if you only take them no more than three nights a week. You can do that indefinitely.
You will just naturally tend to use them less, the less you need them. I like lorazepam. It's an old hybrid anti-anxiety hypnotic sleeping pill.
I like it because I can titrate the lowest dose possible to get to sleep. But you can't mix it with things like alcohol or other drugs. But you don't need to. You can just take a little more till you doze off.
So if your a drinker or drug user it might not be for you. You can easily overdose with it.
Also, if you're the type of person that can't limit your use of a sleeping pill to no more than three nights a week, it's not for you.
There are many other useful sleeping pills like Ambien. But the same rule applies. No more than three nights a week. Until you don't need it anymore.
You also can't develop a physical or mental addiction on only three nights a week lol..❤️🫂
