Terrible news according to numerous people last week who claimed high fees were a good thing and inevitable for Bitcoin.

No doubt the same people now believe low fees are a good thing.

This is why intellectual honesty is important.

You don’t have to pretend *everything* is good for bitcoin all of the time.

Not everything is good for bitcoin. If you think that, you are caught in ideological absolutism, and you may actually look like a fool while you celebrate something ranging from annoying-to-bad happening to bitcoin.

Let me give you an example:

More scams being run on bitcoin. That is bad. Fraud is objectively unproductive economic activity and creates inefficiencies in a market amd harms people. If you celebrate more fraud being run on bitcoin, you are a hopeless moron.
