It's things like this that make me think Huxley was more prescient than people give him credit for. People correctly see Orwell's language ideas using propaganda and how dystopian that is, but I don't see it being the main way we get to a dystopian future.

People will ASK for this because it's convenient and be amazed at the technology, not realizing the immense control it gives central planners and the authoritarianism that inevitably follows.

We will be lulled into tyranny by laziness.

"A Brave New World" is translated to Spanish as "Un Mundo Feliz" (A Happy World).

I agree with you that laziness and "happiness" are actually very dangerous propositions seeing how things are developing in front of our eyes right now.

Huxley was a real visionary about real human desires.
