Seed potatoes are certified disease free... Or so they claim (seed potato production is one of the most challenging 'seeds' to produce disease free in monoculture systems). Best to grow your own taters and select your own seed stock adapted to your conditions.

Ah! I didn't know this but I do have a few tiddly spuds from last year's harvest which are also starting to sprout. Perhaps I will put the supermarket ones quarantined in grow bags just to be safe
