‍Public Companies Embrace Digital Assets for Treasuries, Attracting Investors
Publicly traded companies are strategically shifting from traditional cash reserves to digital assets to attract a wider investor base. David Namdar, CEO of BMB Network Company, highlighted the growth of BNB Chain, noting his company's $500 million BNB-focused treasury vehicle was oversubscribed with nearly $2.3 billion in interest.
Joseph Onorati, CEO of DeFi Development Corporation (DFDV), discussed their Solana-based treasury. DFDV operates Solana validators, issues a liquid staking token (dfdvSOL), uses it as collateral in DeFi, and has tokenized its own stock on-chain.
Both CEOs believe companies building crypto treasuries will bridge traditional capital markets with digital assets, fostering mainstream adoption.
