Well he is still the president until January. Now if Kamala takes over now it would be a coup
Good point...and I'd have to go back and read up on what happens if the Dems don't even have proof of life. They avoided the 25th amendment on basis of incompetence because he resigned from the race, but if Biden is no longer of this world before the election, then Kamala actually has to take the Speaker of the House as VP, right?
Not a coup because no real change in power or those actually ruling. Doesn't really matter what figurehead is in place for the Dems because they themselves admitted "you elected a team".
Agree that he was a comatose figurehead...and technically, they had admitted to running it as a team (like when they wanted people available to address debate questions)...but steadily escalating pressure to make you do something you would not do on your own...that's a coup.
Of course, I've been teaching tennis and working out for the last 7 hours - did we get any proof of life while I was away??
