Was into it a while back, but gave up. The promise of an independent social network, built from the ground up sounded promising. However, the heavy reliance on existing infrastructure (AWS,Azure,etc) by many users defeats the purpose.

Yeah it's a shame a lot of people still gravitate to those cloud services. I wonder if the identity system could be changed to use Bitcoin and it's L2s instead of Ethereum.
