So we have a coin that can't be counted, has no fixed supply limit, whose blockchain was rolled back at the whim of those "in charge" - in charge = no decentralisation. It was the first coin to be premined, opening the floodgates for more coin to use that grotesque concept.
The creator who gave himself the lion share of aforementioned coin then decides to shift how the coin is created to "proof of stake". Let's rephrase: "the holder of the most stake in a coin decides to make having stake the way to get more coin". This is total shit (coinery)
Shitcoin or not, there is undeniable talent in that pool of developers. Also the younger generations float to that crap and I think we kinda need to extend the hand in some ways just to get proper dialogue happening... Why wait for them to come to #Bitcoin... begrudgingly.
We should be orange pilling ALL of them and showing them things like LN, Nostr, Ark and other bitcoin techs *do* exist. Would #Nostr prefer to be a Bitcoin-Centric platform or a social protocol which allows EVERYTHING and is not just permission-less?
Nostr has a chance to be the bridge for every single thing of cultural significance on the internet. I don't want to see that not succeed.
Free speech is important more than ever in our current age and times, it just seems to make the most sense to accomodate as many devs & script kiddies as we can.
