simplex UX is still not good enough, recommending to the "regular" users in its current state, especially on iOS, ends up making people reluctant to seek security as they associate it with trade-offs.
much rather tell people to swap their telegram/WhatsApp over to signal and be happy with that for now.

until the #nostr client devs finally realise that the simplicity of nostr kind 4 DMs with NIP-65 is actually beneficial
whatscrap, telescam, and all the rest of the phone-bound chat protocols suck, zero mobility of the account, no concept of "contacts", and all simplex gives you is untethering from the GSM, but that's it, nothing more
All things considered, Signal provides the best tradeoff balance right now, because not only did they add usernames, they also have a big enough userbase to be actually useful.
