Hmm I think it was 8-9 months. I got into it around mid-2020 exploring all the shitcoins. I did the bullshit crypto casino thing for a few but only seriously started stacking Bitcoin.

I unfortunately feel into the “muh smart contracts” of Ethereum and thought it was going to be the profound technology.

After seeing that these smart contracts are basically $150 HTTP POST and that the only thing people were making were tokens and trading platforms, I started getting more into Bitcoin.

My big aha moment was when I did my self self custody transfer.

I wish I got into it smarter but here we are. Stacking and learning every day.

cool, cool. Have you heard how Chia offer files work, to provide perfect trustless transactions even down on layer 1? Or how the coins are self-custodied, same as you do with you BTC stacks?

I’m not promoting XCH as a get-rich-quick coin.

I’m trying to get the word out about a blockchain technology which actually addresses the main weaknesses in Bitcoin’s security model.
