I find it interesting to hear from Chinese people about world events (e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFtVVdbZWQs) This video includes surveys of Chinese people, and shows the vast majority of them having quite different opinions than Americans. The language-barrier-based echo chambers are real. And while I traffick in circles with anti-American sentiment, I suspect even I am not aware of all the shit America has done that is common knowledge in China.
