If you use other social media next to nostr, you could post the content only to nostr, and share the content link with cool link preview on the other sites.
This way you could keep your audiance on other social media.
This could drive people to nostr.
And if you only share links a day later on other places, you can incentivize them to check nostr...

In my opinion, you can use whatever app you want, the only important consideration you have to make, is how you share your nostr links. Through which service? Njump, snort, etc? Or you need better?
But you can keep using only 1 client, if you want, to make your content.
That is one beauty of it.

I think maybe we shall give them reasons to come here.
In my opinion, the only reason could be the content. Nostr can be as decentralized as it wants, or censor free, but if content, the main purpose of social media is not there. People won't stay.
So the move of a person's favourite content creator can be a really good drive to come here, because the content they enjoy will be here. On the other hand, for content creators, many tools are being built, so for them, the reasons come and stay will increase.
And if people are here to read their favorite authors or creators, they will want to learn to use it.

I assume, if nostr has bigger content selection, and periodic appearance of it, it would give better audiance.
So either we, if we are creators, shall move here.
Or we, as nostr advocates, shall casually share nostr links with friends with any explanations on nostr. They will find it out anyway.
Or we, as devs, shall create stuff to draw the attention of creators.
I think where the creators are, the people move to.
