I've always wondered by the area has been left mostly uninhabited, I get that it's freezing for half of the year but you could still probably find a way to get more people to live out there

They have some cities up there but they are really wild looking silent hill-esque mining cities. I would like to visit this city, it's called norilsk just cause it looks kinda cool in a this place sucks dick stalker way
