What I like best about Natural Law is that it doesn't require me to agree with anything, for it to be true. It is simply true -- and self-evidently true -- independent of my opinion about it or what I would prefer to be true.

It forces me to grow up and deal with it. That is why people who argue against it tend to sound childish. We are all looking at what is obviously true, and they are reduced to whining about it and name-calling people for not denying what we can all see with our own lying eyes.

Natural Law is logic for adults.

But I've been reliably informed that the natural law is a terrible basis for ethics because then we can't use empathy as an excuse for violating it.
