If you think about it, it's all so fundamentally screwed up. The government encourages free markets to maximize tax revenue
But, free markets concentrate wealth in the hands of the asset-owning class
The middle-class is basically screwed
Things like rent control and healthcare don't really bail the middle-class out of debt traps
