We’re asking this only for beta so we can make sure to get the right mix of users to test our product (from experts to newbies). GA will 100% not have this question. Also, we put an option decline to say because we know some won’t want to share this

I understand the reasoning for asking from a product target audience perspective. However, I feel asking this question, that also asks for your name, email address, and is a Google Form, isn't the right approach. I appreciate the option to decline to answer. I hope no one enters the amount they own.
Totally get it. We discuss this a lot and ultimately thought this will help us to get the most out of beta and ready for GA. One thing that’s important to us is being totally transparent and open from the first messaging on and give people options.
