On August 14, 2018, my wife was pregnant and we were quiet and carefree a few I'm from my mom's house. Then the news: the Morandi Bridge in Genoa has collapsed. Unbelievable. Every Ligurian like me has passed through there thousands of times, hours of queuing before arriving at the genova-Ovest exit.

Since it was rebuilt a few years ago, I drove across it today, and I must admit it really affected me: the memories of the old bridge and the families who lost their lives in the collapse really upset me.
