Does the bitcoin from merchant sales go directly to their wallets or does Square custody it until its withdrawn? Auto withdraw available? #asknostr

Interesting question. Here in Italy square is not established, think the service is not offered.

If my logic is correct it's in Square custody for the sake of instant conversions from BTC to Fiat and vice versa.
