I’m Venezuelan, live there until 2019. So yeah, they LOVE BITCOIN for themselves. You can read about all the miners they took from people and kept them for themselves.

People there love Bitcoin, the government LOVE to take it away from them, so in that sense, no… Venezuela is not better than The United States.

Not sure about the situation on Cuba for Bitcoin nostr:npub1uw6lgv5qyexx68fwgdmwt3w7v3dwv679sray2ncpkug70ad7a8gqut3tay can talk you more about that, but since Venezuela and Cuba are very well tied (both geographically and politically) you can make a supposition.

The US government is not my friend, but at least it doesn’t take what is not theirs (for now) that’s why they have REGULATIONS for. Property rights are still present and somewhat respected, can’t say the same for my home country.
