8 months ago, I discovered Nostr when Torba (Gab's Founder) was making fun of a screenshot of nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m's tweet talking about decentralized social media. 8 months ago, I deleted my Gab after 15 minutes on Nostr 🤣 🤣 🤣
Kinda crazy how much I've learned from ya'll in such a short amount of time. Went from a guy who had been doing this bitcoin thing for a couple years by himself, not even knowing that bitcoin had something called 'layer 2', to now doing what I can to contribute to open-source non-custodial lightning projects.

yeah. if we’re being honest, Torba is a douche. he slanders anything or anyone he perceives as a threat.
on nostr at least you can have varying conversations without every 3rd post being an angelic Trump meme, or blaming ‘da jooos’ for grass being green.
