Nostr Icon Proposal

_____________________

So far any other proposal I've come across didn't fit my own criteria:

πŸ‘‰ Ubersimple so that it can be used at any scale, in any color

πŸ‘‰ Have some link with relays

So I started using my own simple icon instead. SVG here: https://w3.do/T5QK66n8

For now it does the job and fits well in the UI's I'm drawing out.

I loveeee it.

I like it, but I feel like something is missing. Cannot put my finger on it πŸΆπŸΎπŸ€”πŸ™πŸ»

Not a bad one, but to me, it does not feel like #Nostr, at all. It's not alive. #Nostr is very much alive & burning in a motivational sense.

A crossover between the "N" of nostr and the "Z” of zaps would be the way to go IMHO.

I’d love to see next to a bunch of other logos/icons from iOS/Android (mostly iOS, let’s be honest).

To my eye, it feels a little light in weight but that might just be me.

Nice!

This is nice!

Nitpicking: If we imagine that the two end points are apps/humans and the two middle ones are relays, then the logo suggests relays talk to one another, which, although possible, we want to avoid. A good interpretation would be to see the bottom ones as apps/humans and the top as relays. That would imply cross posting by the right client, which is what happens.
