If you talked to me about 5yrs ago, I was super down the private tracker rabbit hole. Like way, way down that rabbit hole. I was on basically all of them. However, when I came to my current home, I had to leave behind a bunch of hard disks, and ultimately just went inactive on all of them. So, they disabled my accounts as punishment. Part of what prompted me to stop giving a fuck and not rebuild my library was losing my invite privs on AnimeBytes due to a tree ban of someone like four levels removed from me. It was so unfair, it left a sour taste in my mouth. And it was at an inopportune time.

Why expend even the slightest bit of effort into piracy culture if this kind of thing is the end result? Might as well just go to live shows and buy the hardcopy of the CD.
