Currently, no Nostr client has adopted an advertising system. One possible solution could be to introduce an “ads” button on each note—similar to the “zap” button but designed to send funds directly to the client. This way, sponsored notes could be forwarded to a premium relay, offering users an exclusive feed dedicated solely to sponsored content.

What exactly would be the user gain of introducing ads? I do not want to see no ads without consent. I am using the app to have freedom to see notes from people I follow (other way to trust). It would be quiet intrusive if an app allows ad content to steal my attention.
Users can increase their visibility, while clients can generate revenue for development. In addition, sponsored notes only appear in a dedicated sponsored feed. To view them, users will need to navigate to that feed. This feature would be optional.
Yes it would defnitly have to be stupid ads, that are not collecting any data and can not target users.
