Good point. All the Fold promotion sucked me in, and I looked into signing up a couple times. But there were all kinds of hurdles... couldn't use proton email, steep annual fee, amazon cards, bad reviews, etc... and "be one of the lucky ones" and get on the waiting list... for a credit card?! In the end, it just felt scammy and I didn't sign up. Lots of influencers been pumping this card. Would love to hear from a pleb explain how the hurdles have been worth it.

Ultimately, this space has been rotten with pump and dumpers for a long time. We would be foolish to think it's any different in 2025.
