The sides of the war

My grandfather tried to be recruited by the communists of his country in the Spanish civil war, as he did not want to participate in that barbarism where they killed each other, he had to hide for years in the fields of his town until the end of the war because he was a traitor in the eyes of the communists and if they had found him they would have killed him.

Is this the reason why I am anti-communist? Not because the other side did the same.

It is totally stupid when some people come to question my opinions of the second world war because a relative of theirs was in a concentration camp, they always forget about the other side, war and history cannot be analyzed from feelings.
