Telling a woman to “Calm down” is classic example of a man seeking to hold onto his power. Often used to quietly dismiss emotions as bad.

Flowers speak truth
Outside physical reasons
Like Humans
There is beauty
To be found
Within Every season
Spring is always a favorite
New blossoms appear
Becoming brighter each day
But the rain still comes
Then summer heat
Allows the flowers to flourish
Sometimes the heat is too much
Singed petals still nourish
And the rain still comes
Petals float downward
Seedlings fall
Harvest moons
Autumn
Winter coldness
Isolation needed
Longer nights
Solar energized
Revitalization?
