With Spotify an artist must have 1000 streams in the past 12 months, with an unknown number of those needing to come from unique listeners, in order to even be eligible to monetize their songs. With #value4value artists are immediately eligible and can monetize beginning with the very first person to ever hear their music.

Thanks! I’ll check it out! 💜🔥

Fuck spotify 💯

i wish normies had any ethics in how they use their phone. spotify being a glaring example. i have so many friends that buy fair trade blah blah, buy local, do all this conscious consumption...then apply none of that to their digital consumption 😮‍💨

The number of unique listeners is low, I was the vast majority of my songs 1,000+ streams per track and I got the payout.

Every sat I make from nostr:npub15z2javq62eh2xpms7yew0uzqsk4dr7t3q3dq4903uuxdyw2ca3kstx6q95 #lightningthrashes background music splits is worth more to me though

Thank you for that. I haven't been using background music lately. I should revisit that.

I did make a behind the scenes time lapse video of me putting my show together. I haven't released it yet but your music is in there.

I'm not sure how to get v4v for video to work yet, but I do credit all the artists.

P.S. Thank you for the streaming sats. I do see them. ⚡🤘

BTS Timelapse sounds cool, stoked to see it.

I enjoy the show, thanks for keeping it rocking. Make America metal again! #mama

Flare.pub looks interesting video wise but I don’t know if it supports time coded splits. Don’t some of the modern podcast apps support video? It would be neat to see a “stock video” 2.0 marketplace emerge where you could use a graphic artist’s stock footage in a video and split to them (a la v4v music)
