The whole idea of that burning man thing sounds like absolute bollox :

Radical self expression

Radical self reliance (but somehow a commune )

Radically inclusive ( it would be interesting to see how they would take to a bunch of escaped convicts coming to the fest )

I hate this kind of pretentiousness.

That being said , some of the things there do look like fun ,
