I think I still prefer Trump and DeSantis is probably still my second pick.

I don’t really trust Vivek cuz he seemed to duck out on a straight answer to the 2A question. Since I’m a bit of 2A fanatic that was a major red flag (pun intended). Probably didn’t help that I saw something online earlier about him having taken Soros money for business school.

I went in not knowing jack shit about most of the others but especially unknown to me were Nikki Haley, Asa Hutchinson, Tim Scott, and Doug Burgum. Fuck; I probably wouldn’t even have known who Christie was either if it wasn’t for Alice making fun of him all over here lol. Don’t think I’m a fan of Hutchinson at all.

Was kinda surprised that I mostly liked a lot of Haley and Burgum’s points. Not sure I agreed about Ukraine/Israel but she did make some fair points even on that. But if Trump and DeSantis weren’t there, I’d consider them.

Still wish my boy Josh Hawley had run tho

I was not impressed by Haley’s “I’m a warmonger with a vagina”.

yeah, i wasnt too keen on that part. more liked that she actually acknowledged some of the limitations of the office.

i have mixed feelings on ukraine. ot1h, i think its a money pit, a money laundering machine, and a distraction. otoh, i think she does have a point about not just handing it over to russia/china and keeping allies. she seems to love israel a bit too much for my tastes tho. i'm not a jew hater but also not someone that thinks we should let them run us around by the wallet either

Same here. She's at the bottom of my list. I personally thought she was just puffing out her chest, trying to look tough...but overall unconvincing, to say the least.

Why do you prefer the Father of the Death Jab who presided over the denial of your civil rights and the ballooning of the federal deficit?

replied on eh then saw here lol.

assuming you mean trump. if so, then ya he not perfect and there are things about him im not in love with. i just think he or desantis either one will work and between the two, he probably is more familiar with how to run things in dc. sure, desantis would figure it out but i want to get the ball rolling and get off of bidenomics asap

I think DeSantis understands D.C. well enough. He served 3 terms in the U.S. House and was a member of the Freedom Caucus. I think DeSantis has principles in contrast to Trump who can be persuaded to do anything that he thinks makes him look good.

good points

- Asa was a mess. Good riddance.

- DeSantis? Something is just 'off' with him. Not sure what it is yet.

- I thought Burgum was ok...the "Average Dude", I guess. Has some appeal, but he's toast.

- Vivek...not sure. Liked how he didn't flinch when asked if he'd vote for Trump if nominated. The slow wave of hands going up was hilarious.

Christie? Hells no. Never.

Haley: Thought the puffed out chest, tough gal routine was weak. Bottom of my list.

Pence: Please, god no. Mr. Politician should embrace his history with Trump. Hated every minute of him speaking.

Scott: Like him. Needs some improvement on the clarity of his policies and debate delivery, but still like him.

Trump: Too bad he wasn't there. Might have been a very good decision.

Too bad Rand Paul isn't running. Now I have to pay attention (like it matters who wins anyway).

#trump or #desantis - I will be happy with either.

#vivek lost me when he lied about that Soros scholarship. Said he took it because he was a broke student. Turns out he earnt $2 million that year and a million the year before that. What else is he lying about.

#NeoconNikki is a good debater, but her policies stink.
