In the pre-mil, pre-trib, dispensationalist, circles I used to run in, a huge mystery surrounded the identity of 'Gog and Magog' - given Ez. 38 and Rev 20.
Interesting second paragraph here:
The 'conversion' he refers to is that of the entire Khazarian empire [at least officially] to Judaism in about 740 A.D.
