my gay friend in Trondheim works the night shift at a nursing home for disabled people. he says there's usually very little work to do since they mostly sleep. they just need someone to be there in case something happens. so he kills time on the Internet a lot. i'm not sure this is so much better than being on welfare... he kind of joked that his job is almost like being on welfare, except with better pay.
