I honestly think going sober saves you so much time (like recovering) and money. Might be a bit harder to navigate the social scenes, like speaking another language but it’s doable still. One of the best decisions I think I ever made for myself

Well done! I feel the same, putting my liquor demons up on the shelf and rejoining the living has been monumental for me. Every day gets easier.
