It's supposed to stop playing when you send the app to the background. Which OS are you using?

Does it happen at the time, in all videos, in all screens? The OS might be killing the thread to pause the video at some points. We just need to figure when/where it happens.

It's been consistent over usage since moving to Graphene at the beginning of the year. If I pop on a podcast and pause it. If I've opened Amethyst during that time it will be playing the audio/video from Amethyst as the primary source. Swiping up from the bottom the manually killing Amethyst stops this issue. But then im reloading on new open.
It seems to me that any time I go into Amethyst and encounter media, it then 'hijacks' the player and starts looping.
I often notice it after I set my phone down and then check lock screen. I'll see some random think looping in media player. No audio since I have it muted by default but playing over and over.
On amethyst, the default to videos on my feed is paused and muted.
If I watch a video, press play and un mute all videos in my fee auto play with sound.
If I manually pause and mute the video, the kids in my feed stop auto playing. May be worth a try.
