Retard take.
Nevermind that essentially every element was taken or adapted from other more symbolic contemporary religions, without doing much to preserve the symbology that points at actual ancient scientific knowledge. This was just the latest link in a telephone game of religious teaching that put us into the dark ages. None of this was intended to be interpreted literally - until it was.
