I wrote a book and while getting close to the end of the first edit read through, I realized that I don't like the main character.

My goal is a 9 book series, but if I don't even like the main character after book 1, why would anyone else want to read it?

I have now swapped her out, and I really like the new main character! It means there's a ton of rewriting, but I'd rather rewrite than try to sell something I'm not excited about 🤪
