I still have mine. Can't give it up for this reason. Perfect size and beautifully designed (although I really detest Apple for several reasons). Thus I continue using it as my daily kyc-phone lol
I did until I updated to the latest iOS and it got bricked. *sigh*

Not sure but it was a common issue from what I've read around trying to salvage it.
