The incentives are pretty messed up.
I'm not sure how long conventional monocrop farming practices will last. It's barely profitable now & it's never been sustainable. Less than a decade is my best guess.
I see lots of hungry people. Hungry people can get pretty desperate. I wouldn't want to live in a densely populated area during these times.
Shaking your farmer's hand is nice, but also GTFO of the cities. At least have a plan to GTFO, a plan B.
