It would be nice if Amethyst (and other clients) de-duplicated the main feed. I often see the same message over and over again as the original, several boosts and a quote-boost.
Maybe just pick the hot take from whoever the user zapped the most. Then add a "more hot takes" expansion button to see other takes.

I agree, that's annoying, on the other side though that's some kind of algorithm... Hidden/obscure alhos is what we're escaping from, so the user should be clearly informed about it and maybe even have the ability to tune/modify it
It's done by the app and you should of course pick an app that's clear about how it works.

I have been asking for this since the beginning.
I thought it would be easy at first glance, but then not so much after I thought about the logic needed to get it right. Nostrdb or similar is required to make this work right as far as I can tell.
Started to see duplicates like this on primal recently. They seem identical and always right after each other. I don't know how nostr works behind the scene, so I have been wondering if it's been a relay issue or something like that. Happens a lot, but not every post.

Does seem like it would be good to group recent boosts together, with some threshold of time for it to show up again if boosted.
