IMHO, this as profound as when Martin Luther made the statement that faith was only present between man and his god, and no intervening institution (like the Catholic Church) was required. this is an interesting line of thinking. what is it about nostr that allows one to extend their moral agency?

Really simple - you generate your own private key - the nsec. That is the core of a ‘digital self’ that has been largely missing in the digital platform architecture until it was introduced by bitcoin. It’s now the same for nostr - nobody controls your npub- you do.
