why not use your credit card to purchase groceries and gas and then pay off the credit card bill with sats?

Hmm.. assuming you’d have to purchase a gift card with sats & use the gift card to payoff the credit card?

Obviously, people should always be spending within their means regardless of their unit of account. But when paying bills with sats, people will need to be conscious of where they are in the cycle, large known expenditures (e.g. tax, surgery, etc.), and ensuring they can continue stacking. Overall, this concept does provide a good on ramp to bitcoin, especially when you explain to people that their purchasing power increases through every cycle.
