⚡️🇫🇷🇪🇺 NEWS - In France and throughout Europe, electronic appliances are rated according to their power consumption.

Here's an example of buying a TV set with this rudely scary label. 😳

This device is rated E!!! 😱

But here's the calculation in detail. 1000 hours per year, 26kWh at 25 cents per kWh, or €6.50 per year.

The EU is scaring us for 55 cents a month...

For example, if you replace your Class E TV with an A, it will cost you 500€ more, and you'll spend 4€ instead of 6€ a year.

It will take 250 years to pay for itself...

Next time I buy TV I’m going for the lowest class available.

A system built by retards for retards

That is so retarded, like bottle caps and paper straws.

Not just the EU, power ratings are used for appliances in almost every country on earth.

It's like the metric system, sure USA Myanmar UK and Liberia don't use the metric system, but the rest of the world does, not just the EU.

Or just pay no attention to these labels. Simply ignore it.

Theft!
