How about the generation before that forced the Great Depression and two world wars?
The greatest gen were kids during the Great Depression. Their big sin in adulthood was abandoning the gold standard.

100% agree, Nixon move off the gold standard in 71 and the petrodollar system was the ultimate can kicking that led us to fiat degradation. I’m just glad we have #bitcoin now to opt out of fiat
