This is the problem with the Knots/Core debate: people don’t even know the BASIC facts of how Bitcoin works and think the removal of 80 byte policy restriction on OP_RETURN is a blocksize increase…

Core is core. 🫶🫶.. bt as saylor has bitcoin has a new protector as well..šŸ¤—šŸ¤—.. nt a bad thing... The end goal is network shuld continue running.. fuck everything else.. what bitcoin was made for, shuld continue to do that... That's core must nt be changed.. 🧔🧔

Cherry picked one comment where we have no idea if it is even a real person actually running a real node.

at this point i assume most YT comments and like to be LLM-generated. I refuse to believe that here are so many retards among us

Obviously no, the actual block size doesn’t change, but the total amount of data stored per block is likely to be much higher. That is bloat, and has risks associated.

I get both sides, but why is anyone wanting to change or add ANY single opening for the suits, institutions, or corrupt members of the Globalist Cabal to turn people away from Bitcoin. I want ONE good argument for why we need to open up even the slightest possibility for bad actors to add material to the network that could hurt it or its reputation. Wake the fuck up! Bitcoin is Money and it should only be MONEY. The entire point is to FIX THE MONEY…not make some fucking loser happy he can upload a picture onto the network. Knots run here, knots set up on my mother’s node, and going this weekend to set up my sisters node to Knots as well!

Ooof

Nope, that’s not it. That's just more gaslighting.

Let me spell out the actual problem. The Core side has yet to explain how they will guarantee:

1. This will not permanently and irreversibly open Bitcoin to hosting illicit material on-chain.

2. This somehow unlocks the ā€œkiller featureā€ that has so far prevented Bitcoin from functioning effectively as the hardest, soundest money in human history.

3. There is no alternative system anywhere - sidechains, alt-chains, off-chain protocols - that could provide the features you’re chasing without bloating or polluting the one-and-only hardest money system humanity has ever created

The burden of proof is on those who want change. If you can nail those three, I’ll be more than a little excited to hear more.

I’ll wait.

Good chance that Core can't do squat on that regard, because they're poopcoiners as much as actual poopcoiners.

Dude, you’ve picked some random retard off a youtube comment.

This was a good conversation. You two were very respectful in a way that I wish I could be sometimes when talking about opposing views.

Did you hear or read what happened when BitcoinSV raised their limit from 80 to 100k? CSAM

I believe that is where the issue is. It has already been accomplished on SV from the same metrics. It’s almost like deja vu.

Imagine writing this post AND sharing the latest Rage nonsense about a hard fork šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø
