Just a correction on what has been sent on RHR podcast about Stratum V2.
Upgrading firmware is absolutely not a requirement to use SV2.
A translation proxy exists for years which allows miners with SV1 to use SV2.
i remember watching rachel work on it at tabconf two years ago 👌
