you can already use a self-hostable version of github, e.g. gitlab or gitea

how would it be assembled? that's for individual users to discover in much the same way users assemble unix tools like cat, echo, grep, awk, in infinite different ways, tied together by the underlying construct of |, >, >>, &, etc.
