Got to find a node you want to open a channel to. But it might be a better idea to open a bigger channel
The rightmost button on the bottom nav bar brings up the channels screen. From there you can click the ‘+’ icon in the top right corner to open a channel. You can find good peers to open a channel to with nostr:npub17tlh448s3tfdfgymehqdkdn52as59qsrax0n9h58pk54wcmqyc2qklzsxj
228K sats makes for a pretty small channel though, and if your peer isn’t well connected you might get payment failures. For small amounts, custodial wallets are usually less of a headache.
Ahhh ok.. ima stick with Phoenix for now. My channels on Phoenix have been open for month and months.. im little knowledge with wallets but this is not a beginners wallet. Way way to confusing for on boarding.. I will use in the future maybe

Once you have enough funding and know-how for it to be worth it to build your own Lightning node (even with a simple out of the box solution like nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct), nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 is by far my favorite mobile wallet to interface with it.
