What it means is you can zap the rent for your pod and insect deliveries!
Realtalk: this isn't a direct harm to LN in general as it's open decentralised protocol with multiple implementations, but it's definitely not a good thing for Bitcoin to have one of the biggest players in LN join the Davos gang.
Best thing we as bitcoiners can do is boycott LND, Terminal, and everything else from Lightning Labs.
I notice they're pushing stablecoins on LN recently. Probably tryna put a CBDC on Bitcoin Lightning.
It doesn't mean a thing.
Soz but I smell bullshit on this. The WEF don't randomly name organisations as partners. You must apply to be considered a WEF partner.
They actually do just list random stuff on their website. LL wasn't the first one.

Alright to be fair, upon further investigation they're not actually a WEF partner, the WEF listed them as a "tech pioneer."
Lightning Labs isn't on the actual list of WEF partners.
