45 years today since this gem was released. One of the holiday staples in our house when I were a lad, along with Indiana Jones and Starwars. So many quotable lines! And that soundtrack, obvs.

I need to get a copy! The last time I watched Flash Gordon was in the movie theatre when I was 9. My grandmother took my sister and I to the premieres of all 3 of the movies you mentioned, at that same theatre in London ON. Years later, when she was in her 60’s, I took her to see the movie 300 when she came to visit us out west from across the country. Good memories.
That’s great - the first movie I recall in the theatre, and I remember it vividly, was Ghostbusters. My then best friend James’ mother took four of us (I must have been 8). Library scene scared me silly.
