I think I could drastically lower the number. 100 or even 50 seems reasonable. But, starting conservative since these mega threads seem to be the main issue now.

yeah really depends on each individual attention span . 20 30 50 100+. i muted many who replied int hat thread - unmute after few months lol - at relay level 100 should be fine - if I were send invitations for nostrica2024 to 5000 npubs - will break in up 50x100 times perfect legit not a spam -example
