Nostr is evolving to allow more privacy. It's heading in the right direction, IMO.

Most notes have the privacy of normal webpages, right now, because that's essentially what they are. That's why we say it's the New Internet.

I think it's best to go from most-open to most-private, if you want to prevent censorship and allow freedom of the press across the globe. The privacy has to be built upon an open protocol, but it will never be truly private. Can get to the level of a bulletin board or Twitter DMs, essentially.

Anything more private than that needs SimpleX.
